Annual inspections are the most recommended process for ensuring the coating is maintained and care for the vehicle is properly executed. Inspections should be carried out with us at Groundwork within 30 days before the anniversary date of your service to ensure peak performance. Ceramic Pro is durable and long lasting, however annual inspections will ensure maximum gloss and protection.
Curing time is 2-3 weeks depending on environmental conditions such as humidity & temperature. During these weeks, you should avoid the following:
If you happen to notice that your car gets any water spots, bird droppings, tree sap, etc. during the curing process time frame, immediately remove it following our care instructions.
*Keep in mind the coating is soft; be gentle when working on the paint.
Ceramic Pro is extremely slick, this means most things will dissolve and be pulled off by Ceramic Pro's self-cleaning effect. Minimizing rubbing (especially with dry towels) on the coating will ensure its longevity. Dry bird droppings, bugs or tree sap can be dissolved using alcohol solvents and wiped off with a damp microfiber.
Always dry your car completely and never leave to air dry! Tap water has minerals that leave deposits causing water spots. Only use quality microfiber towels for best results and avoid aggressive wiping. Allow the microfiber to absorb the water.
Never use aggressive products to polish the coating or remove contaminants. Excessive force to remove any spots is unnecessary. Bird droppings, tar, sap, etc. should be removed ASAP to avoid temporary staining or hardening on the coating.
*Any staining left behind from bird droppings will break down in a few days without affecting the coating!
Wax is not needed when you have a Ceramic Coating! It's unnecessary and the wax will not bond to the coating. Your recommended maintenance product is Ceramic Pro Sport! Ask us anytime about this and to schedule your annual visit!
